The day of the large car show has arrived. The 62 did attend, and we all had a good time. There were 4 of us in the group. During the show, had problems with the cameras inside the car. They kept shutting down in the sun. I have an idea for that. I suppose, the solution will be in one of the following videos. But for now, some highlights of the Gentilini 2016 car show.

The time has come to unfold and present the final restoration video. The restoration of this car is done. However, there still are improvments to the restoration to present. But, those will be another day. A re paint job. better than this one, the 3rd engine, try my hand at making a padded dash. Also, there will be videos of MyGoingsOn. Crusing, car shows, and who knows. There will be more videos, and there will be more work to the car. Afterall, these car's are projects until?.

It's always good to improve on what one has accumplished. There will almost always be "I could have done better here, or here". So, with that said. Here's a 53 minute video, in motion picture style, in Time lapse, of the complete restoration from start to now (finish). This video was in the wroks from 5 years ago, being made as the car was restored. I have been very busy.

Now it's time to search, or make the After pictures for the front of the web site. I will start that this week. That alone should be neat to see.

Now look!. The car looks just out of the show room. But, I am going to strive for even better as the future looks. When I retire, not too long to go from now.

The inside, there is really nothing more to do except a couple of little things.

The 3rd engine is next. Still we stay with the 6 and keeping to the historic ratio.

Comment:
Another paint job. 2 tone?. Maybe. The hood needs a little more body work. new paint always shows the little imperfections. The trunk too. This paint job was not supposed to look this good. It was for locating the imperfections. The inside paint?. I am quite happy with that. It stays.

I forgot to grease the window regulators, and the lock pull knobs. They need to be done. Have to remove the door panels to do that.

So, you see, there is always more to do to the car. better and better, newer and newer looking until it's as good, or as show car as it can be. Stay tuned for more on this automobile. There is more to come, more fun too, more work also AND, more "Adventures Of Ford Fairlane 500".

Final Restoration Video 01

The Burke Motors Group 2nd Annual car show. This year, is a special show. Within this show I have three special guests. The first, Diana dressed in authentic 1960's, including earings, dress, and flower shoes.

The 2 other guests are this car's first owners. Yes, after all these years the car and the first owners, have united, at least for a little while. The restoration picture book, they liked, and yes, pictures were taken. This car show was very special indeed.

Starting out to the show. Seems the township was cleaning up the tree limbs from the storm a week ago. Delayed slightly.

Comment:
Remember from the last car show video I changed the cameras. Instead of "you can look but no touch", to "Wave to You Tube". Seems people took better to that than the look no touch. An experminent in human behaviour. It worked for the most part.

This time there were some stories from the past. Comments, and more lookers than any other show so far. Very interactive.

This summer is almost over. This year's summer I had some fun. Some cool videos too. If all goes well, the middle of the winter I retire from the work force, but then, I will probally do side electrical jobs. But, we will see...

If that happens, next summer will be working on the car again. Basicly, continuing on the paint. That is, sanding down again, going over the dips, and little, tiny, inperfections. Basicly, on the outside paint. Not to mention, the rebuilt, from top to bottom 3rd engine. Then, there is also trying my hand at making a padded dash. That is also on the planning list.

But for now, here's another video. This one I was saving crusing footage to edit little by little as the days pass by.

This old guy hangs out at one of the auto shops I know. He was asking about how's the car's progressing along a few times. he asked to bring it around someday.
